STEM SUMMER 2020:  On Air & In Water was a HUGE success!

Field trips were canceled due to the pandemic so we substituted with clubs this year.  Attendees selected their club each week which included, Recycling Club, Art Club, Math Club, Engineering Club,  Investment Club, Spanish Language and Culture Club  Sign Language Club and Mentoring Club. In her club, Ms. Mayela, covered conversational phrases. The most popular was, "Mi favorito es. " As there were so many favorite program activities!

The list of speakers this summer included Evan Roberts, educator and youth empowerment specialist. Mr. Roberts came twice a week to speak with participants about self esteem, goals and mental health. Stephanie Williams, author of the book Future Plans for Kids: STEM Careers gave a book to everyone and talked with us about the promising forecast of STEM careers over the next 30 years. Just to name a couple, the list a awesome speakers goes on and on...

STEM Summers with AAYD: Imagine Greatest

Imagine a program where everything is hands on. No pencils! No paper!  Every assignment is an activity and every activity is an adventure.  A place where seasoned engineers help you to create your own robot; where doctors walk you through your first (mock) surgery.  A place where you and your peers

don't just learn from bio-chemists, you walk in the shoes of one.

A warm environment, an inviting culture, and all the fun and exciting learning one can handle!

Our programs are not attended, they are experienced!

Welcome to greatest!
